URGENT NOTICE TO MEMBERS RE: PAC/COPAC EMAIL ACCOUNTS
During Spring Break, PAC/COPAC email accounts were changed.
While PACs/COPAC can email out, emails may not be received until the individual accesses their NEW email account.
If PACs need more information regarding their new account and/or are having issues getting into their NEW school district email address, please contact the Help Desk at the phone number included in the email they received.
****Please note that these Email Accounts are used by COPAC, School District Staff & The Board of Education to share important information with you and your PAC.

CONTACT INFORMATION FOR PAC PRESIDENTS & PAC REPRESENTATIVES: Regarding the transfer of PAC/COPAC First Class email accounts to Outlook
COPAC is aware that the transfer of First Class to Microsoft Outlook has caused communication issues with our members. We are working to rectify these issues as quickly as possible.
COPAC will continue to use personal email accounts and the COPAC Website as our main means of communication with our members. In addition, we will continue to use PAC Email Accounts.
How You Can Help Ensure That You/Your PAC Doesn't Miss Any COPAC Information?
- Ensure that COPAC has current contact information for your PAC President and/or PAC Representative to COPAC. (*Please contact Sharlene Drohomereski at COPACVP@sd23.bc.ca to make sure that your PACs contact information is updated)
- Ensure that you have removed the COPAC and/or First Class email address(es) from your SPAM list - We have had numerous emails bounce back :)
- Ensure that any information you/your PAC receives is shared with your school community :)

*CATCHMENT AREA REVIEW & EDUCATION FACILITY PLAN REVIEW:
- These topics are to be reviewed at the April 4th Education & Student Services Committee Meeting.
Sharlene will be attending and bringing more information forward on these topics after the meeting,
including opportunities to provide input/feedback.
- All interested individuals and members of the public are welcome to attend all Board Standing Committee Meetings.

THE GROUP PRESENT REVIEWED THE PROPOSED DRAFT COPAC CONSTITUTION &/OR BYLAWS, INCLUDING ALL AMENDMENTS, AS A COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE AND AGREED THAT A DRAFT #4 BE DISTRIBUTED IN JANUARY FOR VOTING TO OCCUR AT A SPECIAL MEETING TO BE HELD IN FEBRUARY.

- COPAC is both invited and committed to providing the 'parent voice' at both the district and provincial levels on a regular basis.
- In order for COPAC to both fairly and efficiently represent our PACs and parent or guardian views/opinions, COPAC needs YOUR INPUT/FEEDBACK!
- COPAC welcomes any input/feedback from PACs and parents or guardians relating to any matter(s) that may affect the education of children in our district as well as those items relating to PACs and COPAC.
